The First Week

The new school year, autumn, & the exit of summer are upon us. This fall, I’m finally back at school to finish up my degree. It’s hard to believe that it’s my final year as an undergrad (especially so because of how disjointed the past few years have been) but I’m happy to be back. I’m feeling amazingly motivated in my classes & I’m looking forward to delving into a fresh, new year.

This first week has been a whirlwind of moving, readjusting, note taking, & book buying. Here are a few moments from along the way…

1

(From top left) I don’t know the name of those little flowers/leaves, but I love how whimsical they look, especially as they fall from their branches; Smoothie bowls & coffee are actually my comfort food; thanks to a new Nespresso machine, I can once again enjoy cappuccinos with coconut milk!; I’m buying all of the fresh flowers that I can before summer truly comes to a close.

A magical tea time at golden hour; banana pancakes that almost started a fire (…whoops); FoMu pumpkin spice (!!!) & banoffee pie ice creams + catching up with a friend I haven’t seen in far too long= perfection.

Slowly but surely I’m decorating my new bedroom. Obviously, I’m kind of into collages & inspiration boards. Let’s hope they work to keep me motivated & inspired.

Here’s to the start of a fantastic new school year!
