“Hoppy” Easter

I’ve always loved Easter. It’s much less hyped (& therefore way less stressful) than other major holidays. There’s a peacefulness about the day that couples perfectly with the beginning of the spring season. It feels fresh & invigorating– like a new start.

It’s also fair to say that I’m slightly obsessed with Easter decorations. I adore the pastel colors, the flowers, & the springtime animals (truth time: I may be in the process of begging my parents to let me get a pet rabbit while I’m home this spring/summer [so far it’s not going over so well…]). The copious amounts of chocolate & sweets don’t hurt, either!

Here’s a peek at what’s inspiring me this Easter holiday:

From top left: Simple ombre eggs, bunny & pansy & chocolate perfection, a chick just hatching into the world, clean & fresh Easter decor, but seriously– who wouldn’t want a pet bunny?!, & Aussie artist Laura Jones’s studio.
